Also known as: A Record of Ex-Lovers Falling in Love Again After Marriage. CP275
What do you mean, the little white cat you paid a fortune to hire is your ex-boyfriend?
What do you mean, the little white cat is actually your DK ex-boyfriend, the one you cruelly abandoned?
What do you mean, your DK ex-boyfriend and your 27-year-old ex-boyfriend are sharing one cat's body, instead of you adopting a neurotic cat who loves to wrestle you?
What do you mean, your family has suffered so much at your hands that they've decided to find you a husband, and the arranged marriage has paired you with your ex-boyfriend?
Is this even human language? Is this Japanese? Why can't I understand a word?
The white-haired man with bandages over his face chuckled softly and gently took your hand. His movements as he slipped on the ring were quick, steady, and unmistakably forceful.
"Don't understand? That's fine. You only need to know that I won't let you go."
At last, at twenty-seven, Ogiwara Tsuyu had beaten the old men into submission and claimed the position of family head, becoming the first woman to lead the family in the modern era.
They say a promotion means a pay rise and a funeral, but she felt that her refined single life had everything it needed, except for a little pet to comfort her soul.
So when a younger schoolmate told her that a stray cat in the hills behind their alma mater had just had kittens, Ogiwara Tsuyu had a bright idea. She prepared a generous cat adoption fee and headed to Tokyo.
Well, her ex-boyfriend was in Tokyo, but surely she could risk a trip there for a kitten.
But just after she crouched down and bribed the mother cat, ready to take home a little calico, a small white cat came flying at her, meowing furiously. It stood on her knee and yowled at the top of its lungs, its blue eyes full of indignation and hurt.
Ogiwara Tsuyu: Is this cat seriously so human? Wait, why does that expression look familiar?
The strongest teacher, at twenty-seven, had just cleaned up his students' mess when he realized he'd returned to the remote mountain forest where he'd once gone camping with his ex-girlfriend.
He turned to leave, but accidentally activated a cursed tool covered in rust.
When the white smoke cleared, a little white cat was lying on its back by his feet.
Their identical blue eyes met, and the kitten tilted its head in confusion. "Meow?"
It was his seventeen-year-old self, before his best friend defected and his girlfriend broke up with him, when all he cared about was getting stronger and being in love.
Except... he'd turned into a cat.
27-year-old Gojo: Ha, how pathetic.
DK: Meow---!!!
The DK had just learned to walk on four legs. Perched on the adult version of himself's thigh, it stretched to look around for its girlfriend. The adult version poked its cat head. "Stop looking. We broke up."
"...Meow???"
He didn't believe it. His relationship with Tsuyu was so solid. How could they possibly have broken up?
But when he secretly tracked down the adult version of Tsuyu, he saw his girlfriend, who had just dumped him and left him heartbroken, carrying an adoption fee over to another kitten.
DK5: !!! You cheating cat!!!
