You can love, but never love enough; you can hate, but never hate completely.
He said, "Lan Yan, just keep walking forward.
No matter who calls your name, don't look back."
Lan Yan's first twenty-some years had been fairly smooth sailing. Then, in that one year, he ran into several bastards one after another:
His "junior schoolmate," born into a wealthy family, took a video of the two of them and used it to threaten him into voluntarily withdrawing from a project;
A beautiful model with terrible acting skills and Hollywood dreams was homeless, so he moved in with Lan Yan;
A famous, wild champion race car driver begged him for a kiss in full view of everyone;
A refined, dignified, and elegant world-renowned professor invited him to build a family together and live a settled life;
His promising first love from his youth laid a vast trap for him, then knelt and begged him to get back together;
A reserved, self-respecting self-made billionaire lavished money on him, buying islands and estates;
Lan Yan didn't think he had that much charm. He was plain-looking and had a dull personality.
But this butterfly caught in a spider's web would still have to tear through the agonizing entanglement in the end.
Not one of these bastards is any good.
