Night Makeup Does Not Ferry Souls

My name is Shen Qi. I'm a mortuary makeup artist. My workstation isn't a vanity, but a morgue table.

My clients are all dead.

They say no one survived the massive fire seven years ago.

But the first body I restored using bone-structure contouring belonged to a "living person."

From then on, the snowy nights in Handan never ended. The rules began to fail, and the souls buried beneath lies lined up to ask me to "touch up their makeup."
