I'm a manager. One day, a System called "Hehe, Just Messing Around" bonded with me.
It told me to lead the tennis club to become national champions. Once I succeeded, it would give me one hundred million.
Of course I refused. I'm not someone who can be corrupted by money.
Without batting an eye, I signed a contract with the System.
The System told me that the romance-novel male leads who play tennis would show up one after another on my first day of middle school. It told me to be ready.
And sure enough, they did show up one after another after school started.
But seriously, what kind of bizarre characters are these?!
The domineering CEO type. We're middle schoolers! How are you supposed to be a CEO? And stop putting hair gel in your hair! Just because you can't become national champions right now doesn't mean you should declare the tennis association's downfall!
The cool, aloof academic type. I know you're aloof, but anyone who doesn't know you would think you're mute! Please! Say something!
The sunny, popular school heartthrob type. He really is sunny, sure. Just don't run out of the gym without permission to race the dog adopted by the club next door! You're a biped, not a quadruped!
The bad-boy school bully type. You're a bully, so why are you attacking people with words?! And why are you waging an intelligence war?! Aren't you supposed to be a bad-boy wisecracker? Why were you written as a school bully who fights with his fists?!
Anyway, it's my job to train these bizarre male leads into first-rate tennis players and win the national championship.
So one hundred million really isn't easy money!!!
Content notes:
1. The author's intelligence is limited, and I've only learned about tennis from anime, so I don't know much.
2. This is my first time writing a story with an entirely original cast of male leads, so there may be some rough spots.
3. The story is told from the manager's perspective. The manager is naturally a wisecracking type, and he's a man.
4. The story is mainly comedy. You can tell what I'm going for from the blurb.
5. Although this is a silly novel, it does sort of have a? main plot?
6. Finally, I hope you enjoy reading.
I'm starting this on a whim. Please don't expect too much from my tendency to disappear.
