The Little Maid

Su Yun's mother works as a maid for the Liang family.

Thanks to the kindness of her employers, Su Yun is allowed to live in the Liang family's servants' quarters. She even gets to attend the city's prestigious private high school alongside the young master of the Liang family.

The students at this school all come from wealthy and influential families. Su Yun is the lone exception.

Because her mother is a Liang family maid, the other students sneer at her and call her the little maid.

Liang Jingyan's little maid.

Liang Jingyan is the Liang family's only son, a genuine golden boy, and handsome to boot. So even though he's hot-tempered, arrogant, and domineering, he still wins the hearts of many girls at school.

He hates it when anyone calls Su Yun his little maid, so he makes life difficult for her in all sorts of ways.

But one day, his personality changes completely. He stops giving her a hard time and instead shows her care and consideration at every turn. Knowing how hard Su Yun studies and that she wants to get into a good university, he even buys her a whole stack of workbooks.

No one has ever cared about Su Yun like this before.

It makes her happy.

For the first time, the timid girl falls in love with the lofty young master.

Because she likes him, she becomes endlessly accommodating, agreeing to anything he asks.

It isn't until after high school that Su Yun discovers he is a devil through and through.

Su Yun chokes back a sob. "So you've been lying to me all this time..."

She was nothing more than a contemptible wager in a bet he'd made with someone else.

Liang Jingyan smiles and looks her up and down with scorn. "You're so naive, big sis. You really thought I'd fall for a little maid like you?"

The pursuit begins after the breakup!!!

After graduating from high school, the heroine leaves the Liang family. They meet again six years later.
