Yu Tianqing loved his boyfriend, Gong Chenghe, deeply, and loathed his boyfriend's twin brother, Gong Chengxun, just as much.

Yu Tianqing pulled his robe closed to hide the marks on his collarbone and went to pass Gong Chengxun on his way downstairs. As they brushed past, Gong Chengxun said, "He just knows how to put on an act. You think he's some kind of gentleman?"
The Gong brothers were traveling abroad on business when they got into a car accident. Both cars plunged into the sea. Yu Tianqing prayed day and night for Gong Chenghe to be safe, and at last received the news that Gong Chenghe had survived while Gong Chengxun was missing. He rushed to the hospital and grabbed Gong Chenghe's hand amid the chaos, then realized that Gong Chenghe's engagement ring was missing. But when he glanced over, he saw the necklace they had exchanged as a token of their love still hanging around Gong Chenghe's neck, and felt reassured.
Their relationship grew by leaps and bounds after the disaster, right up until the eve of their wedding a year later.
As Yu Tianqing looked forward to the wedding, he was kidnapped and imprisoned in a villa on a remote island. Someone slowly pulled away the black silk blindfold, revealing a man with the same face as his fiance. On the man's left ring finger was the very ring that had been missing for a year!
The man leaned down until his forehead touched Yu Tianqing's, addressing him with the name they had used only in their most intimate moments:
"It's me, baby. I'm back."
