"If you can't untangle a knot in your heart, tie it into a bow.", Source: the internet
Qi Mo has a secret, buried deep in her heart for six years after Pei Yiheng went abroad.
She and Pei Yiheng were childhood sweethearts, growing up together and never apart.
Qi Mo was discovered by a talent scout by chance, and from then on set out on the path to the stage.
But the day before her debut, Pei Yiheng quietly left the country alone. He was gone for six years.
Six years is enough to change many things, including the feelings between two people.
Six years later, Pei Yiheng returned home to take over the family business. Qi Mo had planned to go back to being ordinary friends with him, each living their own lives without disturbing the other.
But it seemed he had other ideas...
[Behind the Scenes]
A tear fell onto the back of Pei Yiheng's hand. Qi Mo's voice caught in her throat, heavy with years of pent-up hurt:
"I'm not your possession, something you can throw away whenever you want and pick up whenever you feel like it. I have my own life too, Pei Yiheng. Stop bothering me."
Pei Yiheng's hands trembled. He reached out to wipe away Qi Mo's tears, but couldn't make himself lift them.
What right did he have...? He didn't deserve to.
[Director]: Okay! Absolutely perfect!
Qi Mo instantly snapped out of character and looked at the man opposite her. He was still standing there, dazed, his eyes hollow and aching, unable to come back to himself for a long time.
Qi Mo stepped forward and waved a hand in front of his eyes. She hadn't expected him to suddenly pull her into his arms, burying his face against her shoulder. His voice was hoarse and choked, carrying an almost pathetic plea:
"Momo, I'm your possession. You can't throw me away."
