A Rental Room in a County Town

A badass tattoo artist x a hot, nerdy teacher

The story takes place in Fenghuang, western Hunan.

I haven't figured out the blurb yet. Most likely, the badass has a bit of a wild streak, while the teacher is somewhat conservative, bookish, and motherly. They're the kind of couple where one brings her a bottle of beer when she gets home from work, and the other brings her a bouquet of flowers when she gets back from the shop.

This isn't some sweeping, feel-good power fantasy. I want to explore the hardships of a love between women that isn't accepted, and do my best to make it bittersweet, tender, and healing.

Theme: If it looks good, I'm in.
