The Butterfly Effect II

[The official version is on Jinjiang!!!]

A fire broke out in the library at Pucang University in Linyuan City. Firefighters discovered a charred corpse inside. An examination showed that the victim had not died in the fire, but had been stabbed in the liver with a sharp blade.

That night, a deaf-mute teenager claiming to be the murderer came to the police station to turn himself in. But when the officers on guard were caught off guard, the boy took poison and killed himself.

The officers involved were investigated, and one of them was later found dead at home by a colleague... A string of deaths leads to an old case. The three-person team from the Linyuan City Criminal Investigation Corps lifts the veil of mystery in search of the truth.
