Sweet Romance? I Don't Think So

Set in a fictional world, unrelated to reality. Please do not apply it to real life.

[Blurb]

When you died, you were disabled.

You'd never been in love or been loved. You were the kind of lonely soul nobody would cry for, even after you were gone.

Heaven said, "As compensation, go to a little world and enjoy a sweet romance. I'll give you a healthy body, too."

You: "Fine."

First thing after arriving: check your limbs.

Good, they're all there.

Second thing: look in the mirror.

Good, you can run and jump.

You were just about to start your seduction mission when you noticed something strange in your love interest's eyes.

"You've finally appeared in front of me again."

"Do you remember? Before, you couldn't see, couldn't hear, and couldn't even crawl. I could only hold you in my arms."

You: ???

Wasn't this supposed to be a sweet romance?

System: [Host, good news: He really does love you. Bad news: He's not quite right in the head.]

You: "I want to return him!"

System: [You are already bound. Returns are not accepted. Enjoy your 'romance'!]

And the person who had watched him in silence and written him love letters

was the very same person who had smiled tenderly at him the night before and said, "Let's be together."
