After I Dumped My Ex-Husband, He Became My Boss

Wen Su x Gu Cheng

[Blurb]

Wen Su thought he'd done only one truly awful thing in his life:

Dumping Gu Cheng.

He thought Gu Cheng was poor and broke things off completely, without a hint of remorse.

Then his family's company went bankrupt, and he became a hardworking corporate drudge.

Meanwhile, Gu Cheng took the office on the very top floor of his company.

On Gu Cheng's first official day at work, Wen Su looked at the director's office just a few steps away, which seemed to have been set up to keep an eye on him, and fell silent for three seconds.

Then he took a deep breath.

Make his life difficult. Dock his performance pay. Publicly humiliate him.

Bring it on. He deserved it.

But after waiting a week -

All he got was a cup of warm milk that appeared on the corner of his desk like clockwork.

And somehow, the whole company had nothing to do. Every task was snatched away as soon as it was assigned, leaving his desk so quiet it felt like a retirement home.

Wen Su stared at the cup of milk and finally couldn't hold back:

Was this workplace bullying or workplace flirting?

He was starting to think he might want to get back together.

But just as he was mulling it over, his dad gave him a big surprise: a fiance he'd never even met.

His old man said earnestly, "Son, for the sake of this family, just marry him."

Wen Su: "..."

On the day of the engagement banquet, Wen Su took the day off on purpose and went without Gu Cheng knowing.

He had his lines ready, his attitude set, and was prepared to reject this fiance who'd dropped out of the blue, with grace and dignity.

Then he looked up.

The person seated at the head table was all too familiar.

His dad cheerfully led him over. "Susu, come meet your fiance, Mr. Gu."

Wen Su: "...?"

So after going around in a huge circle, he'd managed to marry himself right back to his ex-husband.
