Yukina Mizuki has always hated sports that make you sweat.
Before high school, most of the clubs she joined involved the arts, like literature and calligraphy. She had nothing to do with sports.
Naturally, she had terrible stamina.

After every volleyball game, Yukina Mizuki would melt into a puddle on the spot, not moving no matter how much her teammates called to her.
If she hadn’t just finished an intense workout and been forced to gulp down air, her teammates might really have thought she was dead.
At first, they helped her walk off the court. Later, someone realized carrying her was easier. And so this genius setter developed the terrible habit of being carried off the court in turn by her teammates every day.
It was no big deal, really, until one day the girls’ volleyball team let their guard down, and a little orange puppy took the opportunity to swoop in. As luck would have it, the boys’ volleyball team at Karasuno saw it, too.
The boys: (furious) (want to carry her) (twisted with envy)
The girls, arriving just in time: ?
What are you doing? Let go of our setter! We can’t even get her back from our own teammates!!!
From then on, the competition over who got to carry Yukina Mizuki became impossible to control.
Then even more people joined in.
Wait, Mizuki is from Karasuno! What are you Aoba Johsai, Nekoma, Fukurodani, and Shiratorizawa people doing here?! Let go of her!!
Why are people from Inarizaki and Itachiyama joining in, too?! Don’t come any closer!!!
A slow-burn story. Volleyball is the main plot, with romance as a change of pace; the two are woven together.
No pairing in the main story, but the extras feature multiple pairings.
