A story about me, A Xin, and Qu Qu.
-
Qu Qu doesn't understand. She comes to me just so we can hurt each other. She can't see my pain, just as I can't see hers.
Perhaps I'm far more selfish than she is. To be precise, I see her suffering, but refuse to help. I'm afraid A Xin will become me, I'll become Qu Qu, and no one will come to save me.
Because A Xin never helped Qu Qu. He said people like her couldn't be saved.
I arrogantly thought I understood what he meant: A Xin wouldn't save Qu Qu because, to him, she wasn't "worth saving." I wouldn't save Qu Qu because I was afraid of her.
Yes, I'm afraid of Qu Qu.
She wants me to be a madwoman, a hero, Don Quixote wielding a weapon.
*Still an emotional outpouring from years ago. If the writing style changes later, it means the present-day me took over.
*First-person narration by the male lead. Soapy, depressing, and every character is twisted. Read with caution. This is definitely not a feel-good story.
*No CP, meaning there definitely won't be any normal, explicit romantic development. Whatever else you read into it is up to you.
