Shen Shaowei suffers from severe skin hunger, but somehow ends up in an apocalyptic game.
The world is vast, but all it contains are stiff-skinned zombies and deformed monsters with several heads. She's miserable, but can't bring herself to hug any of them. She's completely falling apart.
Until she meets a novice player.
He's handsome, illiterate, and can't understand the quest instructions. At a height of 1.9 meters, he often has to hide behind her, and in this unfamiliar world, he can only trust her.
Shen Shaowei can't help letting out a cackle.
She sternly warns him, "This place is dangerous, so you and I have to stick together. Come on, let's hold hands."

Shen Shaowei finally escapes the dungeon and gets ready to start living the good life, but Lu Shanwu is nowhere to be seen.
After asking around, she learns that Lu Shanwu is a BOSS.

Just thinking about everything she did with the dungeon BOSS makes her shudder.
Back in the real world, Shen Shaowei's skin hunger is still severe, but hugging a stuffed toy helps ease it.
She just doesn't know why the toy gets cold in the middle of the night, or why its plush paw slowly strokes her cheek.

When she enters another dungeon, its handsome master invites Shen Shaowei to a ball.
She doesn't want to go in the least, but this is a battle-of-wits dungeon. She can't exactly turn the whole castle upside down.
That evening, as she faces the mirror and puts on her dress, she awkwardly reaches behind her to pull up the zipper. Suddenly, a chill runs down her back.
A long, cold hand slides over her spine.
In the mirror, the castle master's head lies at her feet. Lu Shanwu, whom she hasn't seen in ages, holds her around the waist, smiling sweetly and tenderly.
"Dance with me, Shen Shaowei."
