After a raindrop lands right between his eyebrows, Chi Ju transmigrates.

The good news is that he gets the role of a rich young master, along with a school medical examination report bearing his name. The bad news is, Chi Ju stares at the personal information form as if he can't read it, then finally asks a question that can only be called bizarre:

"Sex... Alpha? What does that mean?"

The whole family is horrified.

The next day, the parents he's only just met send him to a place called the Training Institute. It's a semi-closed school, and his deskmate is a handsome guy who doesn't talk much.

As a social butterfly, Chi Ju is determined to win him over in three sentences. He nudges Yu Lin's elbow and cheerfully says, "Hey, deskmate, your perfume smells great. A little like tea. Do you have a link? I want to buy some too."

Yu Lin stiffens all over and gives him a strange look. The bracelet on his right wrist beeps incessantly as he adjusts it.

Chi Ju: "Hey! I have the same bracelet. What a coincidence."

Yu Lin: "..."

This guy seems to think he's an idiot.

But perhaps out of pity, or because sitting together for so long has made them fond of each other, Yu Lin occasionally answers his questions, even under Chi Ju's seemingly flawless "amnesia" story:

"Don't treat your own pheromones like something nice to share."

"And don't stare at an Omega's neck. It makes you look like a pervert."

"If your gland feels hot, your rut is about to begin. Remember, during this time, if you don't have a partner, take suppressants."

Sometimes he even demonstrates in person:

Chi: What if I do have a partner? Does my partner have to be an Omega?

Yu: Not necessarily. If you have a partner, you can bite the back of their neck to ease it, or...

Chi: Then can I bite you when the time comes?

Yu: No.

Chi: Isn't that cheating? You bit me that day, and the back of my neck still hurts!!!╰(‵□′)╯

Yu: That was a demonstration.

One day, a heavy rain sweeps through the school grounds.

Chi Ju doesn't have time to dodge. The moment the rain hits him, the pain is so intense he nearly faints.

He knows Yu Lin is following behind him, and that Yu Lin has severe mysophobia and always keeps a few feet away from him.

So, before passing out, Chi Ju does his best to fall to the ground, but somehow, Yu Lin catches him anyway.

As his consciousness fades, he sees panic and worry in Yu Lin's eyes.

Their classmates glance at Yu Lin's extremely grim expression, their thoughts in unison: This guy is famous for avoiding physical contact. Get Brother Chi out of here, now!!!

But to their surprise, Yu Lin picks him up in his arms and says:

"I'll take him."
