Surviving the Mist, Starting in a Wooden Cabin

The nationwide survival game has suddenly begun!

Gu Zhaoye opened her eyes in a leaky, dilapidated wooden cabin. The only one by her side was Da Huang, the country dog who had always depended on her.

She had no special powers, no critical-hit bonus, no luck stat. All she had was a loyal dog with a keen nose who would protect her at all costs.

Ding! Your country dog has caught a wild rabbit!

Ding! Your country dog has bitten a green bamboo viper to death!

Ding! Your country dog has discovered a water source!

Gu Zhaoye repaired her cabin, hunted game, and opened resource chests. With courage and care, she earned her first fortune in the Mist Forest.

With a sharp business sense, she got ahead of the competition by selling bamboo tubes and earned her first windfall. Then she sold blood-recovery wooden beds, wooden fences, torches, and more, and her business flourished.

She never bullied or fought dirty, but she was always ready for a fight. Gu Zhaoye went from a tiny cabin to a luxurious fortress community, taking first place on the combat, wealth, and popularity rankings!

Note: Mist survival + treasure chests + exploring misty ruins + running a business in the trading zone + always ready for a fight. Feel free to save this up and binge-read later.
