After I Ran Away With the Baby, the World Began Surviving at Sea

Chu Xiucheng knows a thing or two about the run-away-with-the-baby trope. Usually, as long as you stay in the same plane, they will catch you.

So when it was his turn, he made sure to run far, far away. He took the baby and traveled straight back to his hometown on Blue Star. Surely no one would catch him now!

Who could have guessed that, after only a few years at home, Blue Star would be swept into a global ocean survival game?

So Chu Xiucheng had no choice but to enter the game with his three-year-old child.

Chu Xiucheng: Mantou! Stop chewing on my tail. You might break your teeth.

But the little merchild, who hadn't developed his intelligence yet, only knew that he loved eating fish. There was a huge fish tail right in front of him, looking delicious and constantly swishing before his eyes.

Too bad he couldn't bite through it!

The big and little merfolk thrived at sea, constantly breaking survival records and leading all of Blue Star through countless crises.

Until... the child's other dad showed up!

Chu Xiucheng: Nobody told me you could get caught even after running away with the baby across planes!

The empire's highly decorated Emperor Gu Chaojin searched frantically for his Empress for three years.

Alas, his Empress seemed not to exist in this world. Even as the ruler of the mightiest empire in the stars, he couldn't find a single trace of him anywhere in the galaxy.

Until a mechanical voice rang out in his mind.

[An underage player has requested support from both parents. Would you like to enter the game?]

Gu Chaojin thought of the egg still in his wife's belly and immediately agreed!

Both the top and bottom are overpowered. In truth, this should be a sweet little story, with little angst.

Theme: Keep moving resolutely toward your goal.
