[Honkai: Star Rail: Evil Enemy] Return to Dawn

Bai E, a fourth-year student at the World-Painting Academy, got connected with a teacher named Bobo and joined an older schoolmate who had graduated long ago for an internship aboard the Astral Express.

Their first field study was on the planet Amphoreus, which had collapsed in the previous Amber Era. From the faint memories left among the ruins, a Memokeeper salvaged a record from before its end and gave this world, forever stuck at twilight, the name "Eternal Land."

March and Stelle reminded him: "Pay attention to the first local you meet after getting off the train. They're definitely not ordinary."

He kept the Trailblazing veterans' advice in mind, took his drawing board and a baseball bat gifted by the Astral Express Crew, and got off the train alone.

The story of this world had long since ended, and the forces lying in wait had shifted their focus elsewhere. This sketching trip should have been fairly safe, until the naive, reckless outsider wandered into a dilapidated temple and awakened a god who had been sleeping for ages.

The golden-haired god with red markings leaped down from the mural and struck an eager fighting pose. "Well, if it isn't the savior of Aedes Elysiae! Come on, fight me!"

Bai E raised the baseball bat in the trembling hand he used to hold his paintbrush.

Huh? He's fighting a god? Is this for real?

[Before reading] This is a fictional history adapted from the historical events of Amphoreus. Please don't scrutinize the details or take it too seriously. Just enjoy it as a bit of fun (◍ ´꒳` ◍)

The setting features a college-student Bai E x Divine Foe.

Still set against the larger Honkai: Star Rail backdrop. OOC warning. I hope I haven't taken them too far out of character (:з"∠)_
