If You're Still Gay at Thirty, You'll Turn into a Female Cockroach

King Sherman X asked a duke for his hand in marriage and was rejected. In a fit of rage, he cast a cruel curse: "People of this entire kingdom, if you're still gay when you turn thirty, you'll become a female cockroach! A terrifying American cockroach, no less."

The Imperial Palace's Magic Department knew its two "mortal enemies" well: Ufal, head of the Spellcraft Division, and Saisi, head of the Potions Division. They met eyes across the long conference table and exchanged a signal, becoming temporary allies. In the blink of an eye, the foolish king was placed under house arrest, and his eight-year-old cousin was put on the throne.

But the curse remained, and the one who cast it turned into a shiny, slick female cockroach. After witnessing the former king flapping his wings and swinging his twin tails, Ufal and Saisi, who had secretly loved each other, couldn't laugh anymore.

For the two gay wizards, both already twenty-eight, time was running out.

Could they still confess their feelings and have a romance between "humans"?
