(Cold and dark, always looking for an excuse to cuddle, long-haired seme / calm, clever, sharp-tongued beauty uke)
Lin Yin's life was peaceful, until one day he fell asleep at work. When he woke up, he'd somehow gone from his workplace to someone else's classroom, surrounded by students in the middle of a lesson. A grown man in a white coat was seriously out of place there! Wait, deskmate, why are you cooking hot pot?
What was going on? Some thing that looked like a System called itself an administrator and spouted a bunch of grand-sounding nonsense.
Lin Yin summed it up: Oh, he's in a dream, kidnapped and forced to work. What a miserable life.
Lin Yin said, “Don't panic, deskmate. Mind if I have a couple bites of that hot pot?”
He'd barely taken a couple of bites when a monster started chasing them. With only a non-combat skill, the fragile Lin Yin could do nothing but flee in a panic.
This place was fantastical and bizarre. Mice talked while brewing medicine, flowers played music to help him sleep, and all kinds of monsters threw parties and danced in the classrooms at night.
The dreams changed constantly, and everything was unknown. No one could guess what would happen next, and there was no peace to be found. One moment they'd be chased without warning, the next they'd be fighting monsters.
While searching for a way out, Lin Yin adapted to his surroundings. He was in excellent spirits and even got his companions to have a barbecue with him. Since they were already here, they might as well eat before leaving.
Luckily, he met some kind companions, as well as a tough little girl who could really fight.
The next time he entered a dream, Lin Yin ran into that little girl again, but she didn't recognize him. Wait, were the two little girls actually different people?
Who was this person? And that one? Why did they all look like the same person? Was one of them possibly his ex? What?! He even turned into Lin Yin?
The man finally revealed his handsome true appearance. Lin Yin said, “Care to explain?”
Tang Shi: “...”
Tang Shi's friends grumbled, “Did you really have to copy our character models?”
[The darkness conceals the unknown. People are afraid of the unknown by nature. Death is unknown too. When you get down to it, we're afraid of losing what we have now. That's only human, so make the most of life's many joys. We may also fear what comes after death, but no one knows the answer. So why worry?]
