I Aspire to Reach the Azure Heavens

New blurb (contains spoilers): Until she was eight, Tian Zhen always thought her life was pretty good. Her mother was capable and gentle, her father handsome and patient, and her grandfather stern but never too harsh. Her grandmother could be a bit long-winded, but she wasn't unbearable. Even her little aunt, who was always looking down her nose at people, was still within the bounds of what Tian Zhen could tolerate. Then everything came crashing down when she was eight. The witchcraft scandal was something that should only have concerned the nobles of Chang'an, yet it swept up the little Tian family too. Her grandmother reported her mother, her grandfather stayed silent, and her father complained. The warmth of the past shattered more cleanly than porcelain. Her hatred surged like a flood. From that moment on, Tian Zhen had only one thought: She would climb, step by step, no matter the cost. She would use every means and everything at her disposal to rise! Old blurb: Tian Zhen had a secret. She had discovered that the older girl next door was a celestial maiden descended from heaven. She was different from everyone else and could do all sorts of amazing things. Tian Zhen wanted to be just as amazing! Li Wuyou had a secret, too: she was a transmigrator! But when Heaven sent her to the vast Han Empire, it gave her only the status of a commoner. Unless something unexpected happened, she would never leave Changling County in her lifetime. Meanwhile, the girl next door, Tian, was incredibly lucky. Her grandfather was Tian Qianqiu, a famous historical figure. One remonstrance would catapult him from a minor official guarding imperial tombs to one of the Nine Ministers, and a few months later he would become chancellor. When one person made it big, the whole family would rise with them. The Tian girl was destined for a far broader world, while Li Wuyou faced a bleak future: marry at fifteen, or pay five times the poll tax! Tian Zhen & Li Wuyou: The kid next door is definitely the heroine! Later on. Tian Zhen went to Chang'an. From a low-ranking female court historian, she outmaneuvered powerful ministers, reformed tax laws, took charge of the Imperial Treasury, and climbed step by step. Li Wuyou also went to Chang'an, opened shops, built workshops, and hired women workers. Li Wuyou: “When poor, cultivate yourself alone; when prosperous, help the whole world.” Tian Zhen: “Sister Wuyou can charge ahead like a knight. I'll be the one in the dark, holding the bow.” Theme: Why wait for someone to lift me to the clouds? I'll climb to the summit myself.
