Time as a Point of Reference

Li Nianxu is a troublemaker who has spent years at a certain university. His grades aren't great, either, and rumors about him are flying all over campus.

“Hey, Mom and Dad, what is it?”

“Oh, sweetie, your big brother came back to the country a few days ago, so we're leaving you in his hands. Go to him if you need anything. We're on vacation abroad, so we can't help.” Li Nianxu's mother hung up as soon as she finished, leaving him alone, completely bewildered.

“What the hell? That bastard's back in the country?” Li Nianxu's hand holding the phone couldn't help trembling. He was just wondering how to sneak away when he looked up and met the eyes of Li Huaizhao, who had just driven over to pick him up.

He froze for a second, then turned and ran. He hadn't made it more than a few steps before Lu Huaizhao grabbed him by the back of the collar and tossed him into the back seat.

“Go to hell, you ********.” Realizing there was no escaping his fate, Li Nianxu figured he might as well curse him out before he died.

“I'd think carefully if I were you.”

“I'm screwed.”

“Mom, Dad, we're together.” Li Huaizhao clasped Li Nianxu's hand, their fingers intertwined.

His parents: “What?”

2. Older man/younger man, seven-year age gap, non-blood-related brothers.

3. Some business warfare. They get back together after a breakup later in the story, and the angst is extremely concentrated!!! Extremely concentrated!!!
