Your Canary Is Missing

Dong Yiliang is a top-tier star: an outstanding singer and dancer, with a stunningly beautiful face. His striking blond hair contrasts with his melancholy, distant expression.

Everyone in the industry agrees: he's Li Yanshi's pet canary.

Li Yanshi, the wealthy heir, keeps a young star as his canary and drops by his place for a meal every now and then.

Even if things get pretty intense each time, and Li Yanshi is always laying hands on him, he still spoils the boy. Sure, he can be a little rough, but he's never let him go without.

He may leave the young star bruised and battered, tear apart the songs he writes, and smash his guitar, but he always makes it up to him afterward.

Li Yanshi treats the young star well enough, and even his friends say he has a conscience. He spent a fortune turning this once-obscure canary into the star he is today. What more could the boy want?

So Li Yanshi agrees to the arranged marriage his family has set up without a second thought. What's the big deal? A man needs a family once he reaches a certain age. It won't stop the young star from being his little pet bird.

Until one day, he opens the door to the young star's home and finds it empty.

All that's left by the door is a note with six words: We'll never meet again. Don't miss me.

The young star doesn't just leave the relationship. He quits show business altogether.

He posts one farewell message, deletes all his work accounts, and vanishes without a trace.

Li Yanshi's young star is gone.
