The male ghost in the book is named Xu Gongnian.
Xu Gongnian is refined and sinister, with a fortune beyond measure, a perfect physique, a face like a character model, and a whole pile of chains whose keys are hidden away.
The sound of a lock turning echoes through the villa. Xu Gongnian says coldly, "You can't escape. I'll keep my eyes on you."
Lu Yiming is equally straightforward: "Sure, watch all you want. We're brothers, after all."
Xu Gongnian: ...?
One day, Xu Gongnian gets the urge to get frisky with Lu Yiming. He's already stripped him, but Lu Yiming kicks him away in disgust.
Lu Yiming: "Hey, where do you think you're putting your hands? What, want to compare sizes?"
Xu Gongnian: ??
Another day, in a dark room.
Xu Gongnian (in a damp, sinister whisper): "I want you to look at me. You're mine. You can only look at me."
Lu Yiming: "Look at your mom's legs, you bastard. Who spoiled you and let you get away with this crap? Get lost!"
Xu Gongnian: ???

Lu Yiming, who only wants to lie flat amid an immense fortune, has no idea that his straight-guy antics have successfully caught Xu Gongnian's attention.
...And that they've also awakened feelings in Xu Gongnian, who has never been rejected before.
As the days pass, Xu Gongnian decides he doesn't just want Lu Yiming's body. He wants to keep the stubborn brat, heart and soul, entirely in his grasp.

Fine.
That doesn't mean brothers can't do it.
Then Lu Yiming notices Xu Gongnian becoming more and more normal. He stops locking the doors with that gloomy air, and quits saying those weird, obsessive lines. He transfers money and buys gifts for Lu Yiming, and even puts him on the company books with full social insurance and housing fund contributions.
Lu Yiming thinks it over all night, barely able to keep his grin in check. As expected of him: with sheer skill, he's completely derailed that trash novel's love plot. :-D
Pleased with himself, he gradually lowers his guard around Xu Gongnian and sincerely starts treating him like a brother. Their relationship improves quite a bit.
Until one night, the door opens and a cold hand reaches for the back of Lu Yiming's neck.
Sensing the familiar danger, Lu Yiming breaks into a cold sweat: "Why are you starting up again? Seriously, I'm straight."
Xu Gongnian only chuckles, his breath and husky voice brushing against Lu Yiming's ear:
"I know."
"Straight guys are exactly what I fuck."
