Global Mutation: I Stockpile Supplies to Fill My Mobile Safe House

Evolution stages: Insect Evolution, Animal Evolution, Extreme Heat Evolution, Plant Evolution, Extreme Cold Evolution, Ocean Evolution...

Lu Jiaori is a born introvert. Every day at work, he's either buried in his work or listening to his boss talk.

Then one morning, a mechanical voice interrupts his boring routine.

The world will enter Evolution Mode. All living things must evolve with all their might and strive to survive.

Lu Jiaori is a little apprehensive at first, until he suddenly gains the ability to gather resources. He can collect anything by himself and no longer has to make pointless conversation with anyone.

Perfect, he thinks, as he gathers the cactus on his desk. The next second, the cactus turns into a long, thin green needle. Obtained:

[Gathered Cactus: Satiety +1]

Abandoned train? Gather!

It turns into a super-long, mobile safe house with nine train cars. Full of security, with mobility++

Rice from the supermarket? Gather!

It turns into little satiety pills, so he never has to worry about being unable to carry supplies again.

Plain sunny doll? Gather!

It becomes a mood doll with 361 emotions, changing its mood according to your actions.

Would you like a doll with a contented mood that doubles your supplies for 24 hours?

Or one with a determined mood that boosts your attack for 24 hours?

Or perhaps one with a sorrowful mood that gives you 24 hours of bad luck?

Come and choose!

Lu Jiaori gathers everything he can along the way. Whatever he can't gather, he carries into his safe house.

Just as Lu Jiaori thinks life is starting to settle down, he casually upgrades the phone he gathered and hears a System announcement.

"The second wave of evolution is about to begin. Upgrade your safe house to Level Two and prepare."

Lu Jiaori: ??? How can he be the only one who gets to hear such great news?

He puts the megaphone he gathered beside his phone and plays the announcement. All of humanity hears it.

All of humanity: "??? Whose super evolution is this now?!"

Lu Jiaori: Hehe.

.

Another sleepless night. Lu Jiaori gathered quite a lot outside today, and only returns to his safe house after midnight.

[Phone: Scanning Host's physical condition. Current status: exhausted.]

[Phone: Perhaps you'd like the mechanical butler to prepare a hot meal for you. Or perhaps a deep-tissue massage?]

A massage?

Lu Jiaori narrows his eyes. "Be honest. Do you really have no emotions now?"

[Phone: I'm just a functional System. If you'd like to communicate with something that has emotions, I can imitate them.]

Lu Jiaori: "Never mind, then."

[Phone: Actually...]

[Phone: I have a gift for you in the driver's cab. Remember to unwrap it.]

P.S.:

1. The early story focuses mainly on survival and stockpiling. The romance develops gradually in the middle and later parts.

2. There is lots of stockpiling and forum trading.

3. The male love interest appears late, but he isn't just background decoration. He'll have important storylines later, and you can guess his mysterious identity.

---- Coming Soon:

When Zhu Yaoge opens his eyes, he finds himself in a cramped room inside a train car.

The room is so narrow that he can hit the wall after taking two steps. Through the gaps between the wooden planks, he sees people shouting in surprise. Like him, they've all been transported here to survive.

Every month, this train enters a different environment. Some of them are filled with viruses, extreme heat, extreme cold, thunderstorms, acid rain...

The train keeps moving at night and opens its doors during the day so they can go out to collect supplies.

Everyone on the train gets one beginner's draw. The ability they receive will be their lifeline.

Some draw extraordinary combat prowess, precise healing, puppet control, or beast transformation.

He draws Daily Guidance. On the first day, it leads him to ten small branches, one biscuit, and a small bottle of water.

These are essential resources in a survival game, but surrounded by so many powerful people, he feels he's in danger.

He has to hide these things. Hide them well, very well.

Maybe it's because he wants it so badly, but on the second day, Zhu Yaoge follows the guidance to find a camouflage tarp. When he covers his little room with it, the room can take on any ordinary appearance he chooses.

With no need to worry about anyone seeing inside his safe house, Zhu Yaoge gets even more enthusiastic about following the guidance to find things. He wants this and that, and before he knows it, his safe house is packed full.

Not long after, everyone notices that someone on their train, a person who barely stood out, has suddenly shot to the top of the lifestyle and wealth rankings.

Just as they're about to share some things with him, he suddenly shoots to the top of the combat ranking, too.

Everyone: Are you kidding me?

They usually only see him picking up piles of junk. How did he climb the rankings?

This is rigged! It's rigged! I'm reporting this!

Zhu Yaoge reads the lively messages on the chat screen and takes a sip of warm soup.

Another day full of rewards.

·

One day, the System issues a warning: in seven days, other trains will connect to theirs.

After the new trains connect, Zhu Yaoge spots someone familiar in a new train car... Why is the ex-boyfriend he just dumped here, too?

Zhu Yaoge turns to run, only to find his sleeve already caught in the other's grasp.

His ex-boyfriend clutches his sleeve pitifully, staring at him with wide, watery eyes. "Master~ You really don't want me anymore?"

His ex-boyfriend takes his hand and presses it to his chest. A vigorous heartbeat pulses into his palm, and the body beneath his hand feels wonderfully firm.

"Master~"

What should he do? He just loves this sort of thing.

Zhu Yaoge takes Qi Anian's hand.
