Honey, I Was Wrong

Chen Xiao recently did something bad: he scammed someone out of an item in a game.

The person he scammed was his newly accepted apprentice.

Over the next month, he watched with his own eyes as his useless apprentice went from a low-level nobody in full green gear to the strongest warrior on the entire server.

And then the guy hunted him down for half a month.

Chen Xiao went on a trading run and got killed halfway there.

Chen Xiao went to do a quest and got killed along the way.

Chen Xiao went to run a dungeon, and the other guy waited at the entrance to kill him.

The next time Chen Xiao found himself lying on the ground, he helplessly sent him a private message: Bro, I was wrong. Please stop killing me.

But his fingers slipped, and he typed “husband” instead of “bro.”

The other guy went quiet for a moment, then replied: Shameless.

Chen Xiao: ?

Actually, he could be even more shameless...
