Ye Wuzhang was tempted by a book.
More precisely, he was tempted by Qu Yunjia, the white snake in the book who had cultivated for a thousand years just to save the world.
This snake was noble and virtuous, a paragon of righteousness, upright and refined, six chi tall, with fingers six cun long, and a massive endowment. He even had two of them... Ye Wuzhang was completely smitten.
He absolutely was not lusting after Qu Yunjia's double equipment.
He sincerely admired Qu Yunjia as a hero devoted to saving the world and helping its people, and really hoped the snake might also come save poor, miserable him.
Unfortunately, a dimensional barrier stood between Ye Wuzhang and Qu Yunjia.
Luckily, the heavens had eyes and sent Ye Wuzhang straight into that perilous world. But the first time he met Qu Yunjia, Ye Wuzhang demolished his home.

Forced to set off on an adventure after losing their home base, the two hit the road. Along the way, Ye Wuzhang went out of his way to cause trouble so he could romance the big white snake.

"Yunyun, I'm scared..." Qu Yunjia opened his arms and let Ye Wuzhang into his embrace.
"Yunyun, let me touch your paws~" Qu Yunjia offered up the dragon claws he'd worked so hard to cultivate.
On this adventure, Ye Wuzhang was all lovey-dovey, while Qu Yunjia endured one hardship after another. In the end, both got what they wanted: Ye Wuzhang successfully started a relationship, and Qu Yunjia successfully transformed into a dragon and ascended.
Unfortunately, Ye Wuzhang did not belong to this world. Before leaving, to make up for all the hardship he'd put Qu Yunjia through, he simply...
offered his heart to the divine dragon.
As he lay dying, Ye Wuzhang thought he heard someone crying.
He decided it must be an illusion, a trick of his ears.

1. A very, very slow-paced, long road-trip novel. After a mid-story crematorium arc, both the top and bottom undergo personality changes. In short: a scheming, lovestruck bottom who later becomes an absolute ruler VS a righteous, saintly top who later becomes an obsessive ghost.
2. The bottom is a beautiful young man, 1.8 meters tall. He considers himself genderless and has two complete sets of reproductive organs.
3. The overall tone is very sweet~ Mutual love, two beautiful and capable leads, both chaste, both devoted to each other, with a happy ending~ The mid-story crematorium arc is forced by circumstances, not something either lead wants. No scum tops or bottoms~
