When the higher-dimensional "Weaver" descends into Attack on Titan:
She conquers not the world, but people's hearts.
In the year 845, on the day the wall was breached in Shiganshina, a black-haired girl with golden eyes stepped out of the void.
With a snap of her fingers, she erased Titans. With a wave of her hand, she healed the dead. She marked the girl's forehead, making the captain shudder with the feeling of being "marked" in the Underground City.
The people within the walls saw her as hope, Marley called her a calamity, and the consciousness of the Rumbling mistook her for "one of its kind."
But Arya only cared about two things:
The tea Levi brewed, and the red scarf Mikasa knitted for her.
"You belong to me."
She gave them rings and marked them, declaring absolute ownership.
"But I belong to you."
On the brink of complete liberation, she held tight to their hands, resisting the devouring of her own divinity.
This is a story of conquest in reverse:
The strongest human soldier and a girl use the warmth of a cup of tea and the strength of an embrace
to draw a star from the heavens down into the warmth of human life.
In return, the star gives them a new world without the Rumbling, without the power of the Titans, and without eternal war.
