The people within the walls see her as hope. Marley calls her a calamity. The consciousness behind the Rumbling mistakes her for one of its own.
But Aria cares about only two things:
The tea Levi brews, and the red scarf Mikasa knits for her.
“You belong to me.”
She gives them rings, brands them, and declares her claim with absolute possessiveness.
“But I belong to you.”
On the brink of total liberation, she holds their hands tightly and fights the devouring force of her own divinity.
This is a story of conquest turned on its head:
The strongest human and a girl use the warmth of a cup of tea and the strength of an embrace
to draw the stars down from their lofty heights and into everyday life.
In return, the stars give them a new world without the Rumbling, Titan powers, or eternal war.
