The Butcher's Sweet, Gentle Little Husband

Fang Xia was sold by his mother for twenty taels.

He was "sold" as a husband to a butcher who was ugly and looked ferocious.

His father died when he was young, and the grandmother who loved him most passed away early, too. All he had left at home was his own mother, who treated him like a stepmother would. After deceiving and swindling him, she sent him off in a bridal sedan.

He thought it would be the same wherever he went. He'd just be beaten and scolded somewhere else. He could only hope that the ferocious butcher wouldn't hit him too hard.

Li Yuanshan was famous far and wide as a butcher, not for his skill but for his looks. The girls and young men in the surrounding villages were all unwilling to marry him. Some even mocked his ugliness, saying, "He could scare a pig to death just by opening his eyes!"

He'd even scared his newlywed husband unconscious before they could properly settle in together.

This was a disaster!!! Could they really go on living like this?

After scaring Fang Xia unconscious, Li Yuanshan didn't dare get close to him, afraid he'd scare him into some kind of terrible condition.

But things didn't seem as bad as he'd thought. His little husband was sweet and gentle. He could make delicious dough-drop soup and liangfen, embroider him a purse, and cut all kinds of paper designs...

Day by day, life got better, and his little husband grew more and more handsome. Especially when he smiled at Li Yuanshan, he was more beautiful than any young man in ten li around!

Those twenty taels of bride price were worth every penny, worth more than slaughtering ten pigs!

Later, an unusual shop in town became popular.

On the left hung a sign reading, "Li's Pork Jerky, Honest Prices for All." On the right was a notice that read, "Fang Family Paper-Cutting, Artistry Beyond Compare."

The owner was a pig butcher, and the owner's husband was a paper-cutting artist. By day, one butchered pigs and sold meat while the other taught paper-cutting. At night... (Ahem, that's not something we can go into detail about.)

Bai Heihei was a little cat, with a fine build and good looks. Everything about him was great, except for his unreliable owner, Bai Yichu.

His owner couldn't understand his meows and treated him like a female cat.

Well, it didn't matter. The cat food his owner provided every day was delicious.

Until one day, an even more unreliable friend came to visit his owner and pointed at the cat's little dick. "Male cats have to get their balls snipped. [Smiling.jpg]"

Bai Heihei was horrified. Sure, he was a little male cat, but he didn't want to become a little eunuch! Aaaaaah!

The traumatized Bai Heihei transformed into a human and ran away...

Bai Yichu was an unconventional rich second-generation kid, wealthy, handsome, and refined. The only downside was that he had a cat who was constantly jumping around, Bai Heihei.

The little cat couldn't understand a word he said, and spent every day turning the house upside down and leaping across the eaves, practicing his martial arts.

Well, it didn't matter. He'd raised the cat, so he'd keep raising him until the end, even if he had to do it on his knees.

Until one day, his cat went missing. He hired the best cat-finding team around, but they still couldn't find his Bai Heihei.

After being awake for two days and two nights, Bai Yichu fell asleep on the sofa. In his dream, his cat told him that the little kitty had accidentally fallen into a storm drain in the neighborhood and needed his owner to come rescue him right away.

Following the route from his memory, Bai Yichu went to look. His hands trembled as he rubbed his eyes again and again.

Could someone tell him why, beneath the manhole cover, there was a handsome young man with catlike eyes...

[Bonus Scene]

Bai Yichu brought the human-form Bai Heihei home, and the two began living together, eating and sleeping together in an utterly shameless domestic life.

Their relationship took off like a rocket.

Until Bai Yichu once again managed to go all night without sleep thanks to "ooxx."

Bai Heihei flew into a rage. His evil instincts took over, and, holding his aching waist, he grabbed a fruit knife and stood by the bed.

Bai Yichu: "?"

Bai Heihei: "Human, would you like the kitty's ball-snipping service? [Sly.jpg]"
