Ming Rong is the most beautiful NPC in the Abyss Game, tasked with welcoming players and showing them where to enter.
He is sweet-looking and a little slow, always leading players at an unhurried pace. When explaining the rules, he is constantly interrupted by players being deliberately mean.
He has always thought nobody liked him.
Then one day, he gets lost on the little path he knows best.
He passes through a strange hole of light into a world he has never seen before, and somehow gets bound to a System called "Disposable NPC Roleplay."
Looking at the exquisite, beautiful features of the boy before him, 001 speaks in a cold electronic voice, a hint of mockery in its tone. "Can someone like you really play an NPC?"
This dazzling world is so much better than the pitch-black Abyss, and Ming Rong likes it a lot. He immediately replies, "Of course. I'm very experienced."

Ming Rong expertly does his assigned job in every world, only to discover that everyone around him is starting to act strangely...
Not only is Ming Rong, who should have been sidelined, now cherished by everyone, but the original endings have changed too.
It is not until the final world, when comments suddenly appear above his head, that he learns he died on the day the Abyss exploded.
The players he once led brought him back to life in these little worlds.
The protagonists of those worlds he experienced were also played by the players, and even the somewhat harsh System 001 is one of his devoted fans.
He secretly logs onto the forum and sees what the players think of him. A whopping 99.99 percent voted: born to be a beauty.
The remaining 0.01 percent of the votes were his own, cast when the forum post had just gone up and no one else had voted yet.
Only then does the beautiful little NPC realize: So I'm not universally hated!
