A Chronicle of Captivity in Spring (GL)

A purehearted puppy of a painter x a gentle, mature dance artist

Mo Sheng x Bai Yu | Short BE story from a ghost's perspective

When Mo Sheng was sixteen, she lost her beloved forever. Bai Yu closed her eyes in the intensive care unit and could never fulfill the promise they had once made.

At twenty-three, Mo Sheng saw a familiar figure outside her alma mater. Bai Yu stood tall in the glow of dusk. When she turned to look at Mo Sheng, her gaze was as gentle as ever.

After a moment of stunned silence, Mo Sheng walked over. In the void, she took Bai Yu's hand again, as if trying to make up for the deepest regret of her youth.

And when the void faded away, she was trapped forever in that spring day when she lost her beloved.

1. This is a ghost's point of view that I've wanted to write since high school. It's a BE, and Bai Yu has already passed away from the very beginning of the story.

2. Mo has a mental illness. The sweeter the beginning, the more painful and depressing the latter part, so please prepare yourselves.

3. Part of the Youthful Days series. Author's Weibo: @Gugu Gu Xingyue.
