I Didn't Know My Rabbit Was So Fierce

As a member of an animal rescue association, Su Yu rescues a gray rabbit lying in a dark alley, covered in wounds.

"Then I'll call you Xiaobai. Make sure you grow up healthy and strong from now on!"

Jibai is grateful to Su Yu for giving her a place to recover from her serious injuries, somewhere those old fogies would never find.

But Jibai really can't stand this human woman with absolutely no sense of boundaries, or the things she does to her every day... It's downright rabbit abuse!

Frustrated and forced to live under someone else's roof, Jibai tries kicking and shoving her, but nothing works. She can only turn away and pretend not to see. But how could Su Yu pass up that plump, delicious bunny butt?

Jibai really can't take it anymore!

If she can just recover her power sooner, she'll be able to leave sooner. And for a demon, the quickest way to recover is to eat a human.

Recently, Su Yu keeps feeling a chill down her back. She has restless nights, strange dreams, and a weary mind. Is she having bad luck? Has she encountered a ghost?

A coworker recommends a spiritual master, so Su Yu brings home a bunch of talismans.

That night, Su Yu is woken from another nightmare, and soon hears a crunching sound coming from the room. She tiptoes into the kitchen and sees a tall woman expressionlessly tearing apart the talismans she'd put up.

"A ghost..." Su Yu's cry hasn't even escaped her lips when the woman turns around.

Silvery moonlight pours over her, blurring her features. Su Yu immediately faints. When she wakes up, her mouth tastes of blood, and Xiaobai is lying on her face, ears upright as she nudges her repeatedly.

Even though she saw a ghost last night, Su Yu feels that having her usually aloof little rabbit worry about her like this is a pleasant surprise.

Su Yu doesn't know that when a rabbit's ears stand straight up, it means she's furious.

A sweet, romance-focused story. I should start writing it in the second half of the year! The inspiration came when Tiger looked up lots of rabbit habits while buying rabbit-meat treats for the cat. Rabbits are so adorable, so I decided to write this.^^

Theme: Treat animals kindly.
