Chen Xiangxian x Chen Shu
The Mayans' predicted end of the world is supposed to arrive this Friday.
"Is the world really going to end?" Chen Shu had heard so many people talking about it that he couldn't help asking Chen Xiangxian.
"Of course." Chen Xiangxian looked at him, the corners of his mouth lifting. His voice was firm and quick. "You didn't know? The Antarctic glaciers have melted, polar bears have invaded human territory, the ozone layer protecting Earth over both poles has broken apart, and cosmic rays are pouring onto the planet."
"Haven't you noticed the temperature keeps getting higher? It's already forty degrees in summer, and winter isn't even that cold anymore."
Chen Shu looked utterly devastated.
What if the world really ended?
He couldn't bear to part with Chen Xiangxian.
"Did you hear that just now?"
"Hahaha!"
"Even if the world ends, we still have to go to school."
"Your good man, Brother Xian, is conning people again."
"He just makes stuff up on the spot. The Antarctic glaciers have melted, and polar bears have invaded human territory."
