A Cliched Romance Novel

It's the kind of high school romance where the uke pursues the seme, but Seme 1 doesn't like him. Seme 1's friend, Seme 2, tries to stop the uke, then the two semes start flirting and end up together. Seme 1 and Seme 2 start tearing into each other. "You homewrecker, stealing my man! I treated you like a brother, and you had your eye on my wife!" Seme 2: "You're the homewrecker! You enjoyed watching him chase after you, didn't you?" Uke: "Please stop fighting over me!" Recommended: My friend Shiyi's novel, "Changning" Blurb: At first, Pei Qingji had no regard for Xie Changning. Xie Changning was violent, reckless, and willful, always insisting on getting what he wanted. His family held enormous power, and no one dared cross him. Out of a physician's compassion, Pei Qingji saved the little demon when he fell ill. He never expected that one sentence from Xie Changning would make Pei Qingji his study companion. Pei Qingji was full of resentment. But Xie Changning was obedient and well-behaved in front of him, and even agreed to pretend they were ordinary brothers, calling him "big brother" this and "big brother" that. Pei Qingji forgot that the boy was a little demon, and focused only on correcting his temperament. Later, when the emperor fell gravely ill, Xie Changning fought for the throne with ruthless resolve, leaving rivers of blood in his wake. Xie Changning held out his pale hand, said it was covered in blood, and told Pei Qingji to leave. Pei Qingji refused. He tried everything he could to pull Xie Changning into his arms. Xie Changning lowered his eyes and smiled softly. * Pei Qingji was the legitimate son of the Vice Minister of Justice. He was sent to the countryside at a young age and only brought to the capital at sixteen to attend the Imperial College. Xie Changning had assumed he was yet another sinister, dishonest, crude, ignorant villain. Instead, he found a kindhearted, honest, and utterly sincere man. Someone this wonderful ought to be his. Without power, he couldn't claim Pei Qingji. Without the throne, he would be vulnerable to those who coveted him. Xie Changning's face was expressionless. Whatever he desired, he would have.
