After I Played the Central Horror Game's Boss

Qu Mo opens a Chinese-style horror game. The male lead is secretly the Ghost King, the final boss.

The game has a 90% death rate, a high difficulty level, an extremely terrifying setting, and a boss that deals massive damage. It's ranked number one on the list of the hardest games to beat.

To maintain his record as the internet's one and only MVP, Qu Mo easily beats the game in a single night.

Qu Mo says calmly, "Scary? It's all right. The male lead's pretty devoted when he's in love."

Netizens: "???"

You played this as a dating sim?

Qu Mo uploads a recording of his gameplay, and it's absolutely brutal. He's so heartless it makes everyone furious.

Yet the male lead seems to be under a spell, turning from a dignified boss into a lovesick fool. Even after Qu Mo stabs him through again and again, he still loves him desperately.

Netizens: "You have no humanity! You scumbag!"

After beating the game, scumbag Qu Mo forgets all about it.

But gradually, strange things begin happening in his life.

Burnt yellow paper appears on the floor at home. The TV turns on by itself, then fills with static. After waking from sleep paralysis, he thinks he sees someone in a school uniform hanging from the door. The bathwater seems to turn to blood, then quickly returns to normal. In the middle of the night, the wind outside sounds like a chilling wail...

After being pinned down by a ghost once again, Qu Mo struggles to open his eyes and discovers he's lying in a damp, foul-smelling wooden coffin. The lid is sealed shut, and a young man in an ancient wedding robe, his face covered in blood, is sprawled over him, kissing him.

Qu Mo's legs are propped in the man's arms. A cold tongue licks his calves, and the bone-chilling yin energy seeps bit by bit into Qu Mo's flesh.

The man grins at him. His eyes have no whites, only black pupils. Blood spills from his mouth and eyes, cold and sticky.

"You love me..."

"I love you, I love you, I love you..."

"...Kill me. You said you love me. Kill me..."

"...Come with me..."

"Come with me... Be my bride... Hehehehehehehe..."

Shrill laughter rings through the night sky.

A truly damp and clingy ghost gong x a cold-hearted, scummy beauty shou
