1. Yan Wanchao transmigrates into a historical novel about a real and a fake young master, as the fake young master.

In the original story, after the real young master, who was betrayed by his parents, learns the truth about his birth, he takes his anger out on them by forcing the fake young master, whose body gives off a special fragrance and is suited to be used as a human medicine, into the role of the most reviled kind of husband in this era: a male wife.

After being brought to the estate as a bride, the fake young master never goes outside again. Yan Wanchao knows the original story well, and knows that the fake young master was killed by the real young master, Yan Yun, who would grow up to become a notorious traitorous minister.

Yan Wanchao just so happens to arrive on the day the fake young master is carried off to be married as a male wife.

Yan Wanchao is on the verge of tears. Luckily, the System tells him that Yan Yun is sick, and all he needs to do is play the part of an idle male wife and use his medicinal body to treat him. Then he can fake his death at the right moment and go live his own quiet little life.
