And so begins her long, painful pursuit to win him back.
“Tsutomu, Tsutomu.” You chase after the boy with the bowl cut, teasing him with a smile. “I love you most, Tsutomu.”
The boy with the bowl cut walking ahead feels his heart turn to a puddle of spring water when he hears you call him that, but he still tries to look calm.
“Don’t call me that.”
In his heart: Could you say you love me every day? Say my name a hundred times!
