Gu transmigrated to Haitang City, where the people were simple and honest, technology was advanced, and orphans like him were treated kindly. He loved it there, until he turned eighteen.
The world changed overnight. When adults met for the first time, they greeted each other by taking off their pants. He was taken to a hidden public toilet at a school, where a talking, moving toilet sat waiting... At his coming-of-age celebration, his childhood friend, whom he'd known for years, showed up to entertain him in a one-on-two.
This is Haitang City, a city woven from passion and desire. You have two choices if you live here:
1. Fit in.
2. Go blind here.
Gu took a very long 0.1 seconds to turn down his childhood friend's invitation to play a game, then decisively chose the second option.
All right, then. Now that he's graduated, he has to face his enthusiastic coworkers.
After three days on the job, he couldn't take it anymore. His eyes and soul had suffered a severe shock, and he desperately needed spiritual purification. Something like a few fluffy little creatures that meow and walk all over him.
The good news: Haitang City has cats too.
The bad news: There are two kinds of cats, and you need a license to keep the purebred kittens he wants.
Even worse: The test is too hard. He just can't pass it.
So he decides to find a roundabout way to get what he wants.
Who says cat people aren't cats?
Here I come, kitty-kitty!
P.S.:
1. [Important] Kitties are just kitties. Cat people count as people, but their intelligence is probably about that of a child. They're adorable, cherished family members. The protagonist's love interest is someone else, and it'll be obvious when he appears, since they're the only two who are special in Haitang City.
Two pure little souls untouched by the mire. It'll be very obvious.
2. Since this is Haitang City, the protagonist will often come across weird things, as well as settings that are hard to talk about. You know how it is: gender is difficult to define in Haitang City. I won't go into much detail, though; it's just the backdrop for an absurd world.
3. Because of where this story comes from, the main focus is raising kitties. The story itself should be pretty wholesome.
4. The protagonist might be a bit of a cold fish. There'll be a lot of cuddling under the covers and chatting, so don't get your hopes up for too much.
Theme: Stay true to yourself and never waver
