"Every male insect should marry a military female insect."
This saying is widely known in insect society. As a human who had transmigrated into the insect world, Sirius naturally understood the importance of fitting in, so he chose to follow the custom.
So he picked a military female insect as his fiance: loyal, powerful, and a future fleet captain. He was a perfect match for an S-rank male insect like Sirius.
He seemed to have adapted completely to life in insect society, until that night.
On a beautiful rainy night, a charming, beautiful, charismatic female-insect celebrity stumbled into his arms. Lively and warm, with the damp air enveloping them, he briefly forgot where he was.
When the female insect said he wanted to become Sirius's primary spouse, a somewhat vengeful thought flashed through Sirius's mind: If he couldn't go home, then he might as well become a part of this world completely.
In insect society, promises aren't really meant to be kept, are they?
Those tempting words filled his mind, and he could hardly resist. He willingly stepped into the trap the female insect had foolishly set for him.
He accepted.
He'd thought this would be an indulgence, a redemption that would help him make peace with himself. Sirius believed he was prepared for it, but when he faced the insect, the cool, stern future fleet captain leaned cautiously against his shoulder. Looking at those eyes that suddenly lit up, Sirius found himself unable to say the words.
A loyal, dependable, serious military fiance
A beautiful little star who knows how to charm, is calculating, yet insecure
A foolish, beautiful, short-tempered, pitiful male insect
An ambitious rival in love who demands without restraint
A gentle, quiet caretaker who longs to atone
These insectfolk, who were supposed to be incapable of love, had all fallen for him. Could he really stay cold-hearted and leave them behind?
Or was he truly ready to become an insect?
"He walks clear-eyed into ruin, and will find his way back to clarity once more."
P.S.
The final relationships have not been decided in the main story; they'll be revealed in the bonus chapters.
From a human perspective, the protagonist is a bit of a jerk, but not by insect standards. In fact, he's more ethical than most.

[Preview blurb:]
It takes two steps to go from human to male insect.
One: Somehow transmigrate into an ABO world and become an alpha.
Two: After twenty years of obeying the law, turn into an egg. Apparently, this place is insect society.
The first world promotes gentle, kind alphas who respect omegas' wishes. So Theodore stayed single for over twenty years, always followed the rules, never force-marked an omega, and devoted himself to pursuing his destined little omega. In return, he got a nice-guy card.
Well, in the end, he chose an alpha who couldn't keep his mouth shut, bit people everywhere, and had a habit of turning red-eyed. They said only his beloved little omega could soothe him, so the two of them were a perfect match.
Now he's become a male insect, and insect society advocates free love, encouraging male insects to "have more children, have better children, and marry as many spouses as possible."
Family, oh, I mean, fellow insects, do you think I can trust that this time?
Whether he can trust them or not, Theodore doesn't plan to pin all his hopes on one person. And he's determined never to receive another nice-guy card, so his plan is to spread his bets and make the first move.
To his military-insect neighbor, who watches over him in silence: "Adrian, you're an excellent military female insect, but I prefer petite, adorable female insects. This is my fault, so please forget about me."
His neighbor: "..."
If you're going to reject me, please stop moving while you say it.
To his gentle boss, who often helps him: "Mr. Gabriel, you're truly elegant and charming. It's a shame we're coworkers, and our company discourages office romances. I don't want to hold back your promising career. I'll be happy just watching you from afar."
Watching the male insect stagger away, reluctant to part, Gabriel: "..."
Whoever can resist that is made of stone.
To the widowed female insect whose beauty had captivated him, and whom he'd rescued: "Poor Adonis, you're gentle and adorable, and so considerate of other insects, but I only think of your little female-insect child as my own. I just wanted to help you. You don't need to force yourself for my sake."
Looking at the male insect's head buried against his chest, Adonis: "..."
...Theodore had always thought things had stayed so peaceful because he'd carefully kept the peace. Then one day, he happened to see the three insects gathered together.
He held his head, expecting a battle to break out, and couldn't bear to keep listening. But to his surprise, they were perfectly calm, even discussing who would become the primary spouse as if they'd known each other for ages.
Theodore: ??
So insect society really does mean it.
Theme: Find yourself amid the world's filth and build an ideal kingdom of civilization
I thought Victor was about to enter the palace, and he felt extremely aggrieved while eating the most 😂
I really like Julian and that cute little male 🧋. Who doesn't like someone who can act coquettishly?
There is a sense of horror that Chernobyl suddenly appears in some Western fantasy novel [Like]
Victor was so happy, he had Sili all to himself during this period
Support Victor to speak out for his rights when he is in competition 😏
I kind of feel sorry for Victor, but why can't he be considered special if he's the only one treated like this 🧋
", Let's make it clear together!..." This is a big bug for the author~ let's make it clear together!
Your valid collection is here!
I'm really curious about what the ending will be. Will it be a family fun? I'm too old to suffer a little 😭
Lex was quite smart and thought of this as Gong's arrangement, but the captain didn't notice it. He felt that Lex could ask Gong to change his mind.
