Three-year-old Queque has no memories at all. The moment he opens his eyes, he discovers that he's in a completely unfamiliar place, with only a beautiful, half-transparent Omega uncle by his side.
The beautiful Omega uncle rubs his head in confusion. "Uh... I think I'm your dad."
And so the father and son, still getting used to each other, struggle to survive in the most chaotic region of the galaxy, until a wild star-beast attack leads a kind family to adopt Queque.
There aren't any adults at home, but all his big brothers are gentle and considerate. With their care, Queque gets the freshest milk and vegetables.
Nestled contentedly in his brothers' arms, Queque says, "My big brothers are the best!"
His beautiful Omega dad is just as pleased. "What a lovely bunch of kids."
Life goes peacefully on for a long time, and Queque is convinced that theirs is the happiest, most loving family in town.
His eldest brother always brings home all kinds of fascinating toys. His second brother makes toy planes for him by hand. His third brother is incredibly popular and often brings strange older boys and girls home as guests.
Until one day, the little one discovers his brothers' secrets:
His eldest brother is a notorious, mysterious crime boss in the black market, and all those fascinating toys are tributes from other people.
His second brother actually makes deadly weapons. The glass marble Queque has been playing with is really a gravitational singularity bomb capable of wiping out a whole city in an instant.
And his third brother is an assassin. The older boys and girls who come over to "visit" are actually hostages he's kidnapped...
Queque: "...?"
Wait... are the members of his family not exactly on the side of justice?
His dad looks delighted. These are all rare talents! So he gives them a lofty goal: "I'll lead you all to the Empire and make you emperor!"
The Emperor of the Empire has been having a rough time lately. First, his childhood sweetheart, an Omega, is in a half-dead state after an accident. Then their youngest son goes missing.
The Emperor: "...Life's so miserable I want to die."
Just then, a group of troublemakers are captured in the border star system. Amid all the fierce-looking faces, a delicate, fragile little Omega immediately catches the Emperor's attention.
The little Omega gazes at the Emperor with tearful eyes.
The Emperor stares in shock. "...Baby?!"
Damn it, who said his baby was the mastermind behind the villains?
Meanwhile, the half-transparent dad fishes out a few memories and exclaims in delight, "...I think that might be my husband."
Queque: "?"
He stares in bewilderment. Wait, have they been elbowing their own dad all this time?
Theme: Children are the hope of the future.
