To investigate her grandmother's long-distance love interest in Moscow, Luo Xi set off alone on the Trans-Siberian Railway.

When she saw people arguing on the train and a beer bottle about to smash into someone's head, she rushed in to stop it.

A large hand seized her wrist, and a low voice murmured in her ear, "Don't go."

She turned and met a pair of deep-set eyes.

"They won't fight," the man said scornfully, "because that bottle of vodka isn't even open."

After that, Luo Xi kept running into him. The man's name was Gu Xiaoting, and he seemed mysterious, as if he'd stepped out of an old Russian poem.

He spoke fluent Russian, always wore a suit, kept his hair perfectly combed, and carried a book of Pushkin's poems. Even the way he sliced his big loaf of bread was elegant.

They were supposed to be passing strangers, but a painting unexpectedly drew them together.

Whether to uncover the painting's mystery or to get closer to this mysterious man, Luo Xi took his hand. "Do you dare get off the train with me before our stop?"
