Excuse me! Whose retirement involves turning into a little girl? And not just any little girl, but one who has just survived a shipwreck, lost both parents in it, and is currently running a fever!

Former mission operative No. 12587, forced into the body of a little girl named Liv, looked at the vast, boundless ocean, then at the wreckage around her and the tiny boat she was alone in, and felt like she was on the verge of a complete breakdown.

Damn that Administration! Were they trying to make her start all over again on the very day she retired?!!

Just then, a familiar voice rang in her mind: "Dear Host, I came along too. Aren't you happy?~"

Oh, wasn't this her useless System? Why had it come along? To watch her start all over again?

After the System explained things, Liv learned that she'd been dropped into the East Blue of One Piece. She still had her old belongings, but all her skills were sealed, so she couldn't use her telekinesis to retrieve them.

Although she'd watched One Piece a long, long time ago, she'd forgotten all the plot by now!!

And what's more, based on her faint memories and what she knew, this was a damn dangerous world, wasn't it?!

Had the Administration really retired her, or were they using this as an excuse to kill her by dropping an untrained nobody into a world like this?!!

No matter what, once she survived, she was going to build her strength back up!

Luckily, the Administration hadn't really wanted her dead. After she spent just one freezing night on the sea, Garp's battleship found and rescued her. And because of a few mistakes on Garp's part, he felt guilty toward her.

After becoming Garp's disciple, Liv pushed herself to get stronger every day. Even when she was left in Foosha Village, she kept training without fail. By the time she was sixteen, she felt ready to start learning Haki and take her first steps toward becoming one of the world's strongest. But Garp was far away in the New World, fighting pirates and quelling unrest, and couldn't make it back.

...Fine. She already knew the theory, so she could try it herself first.

The result was exactly what you'd expect.

The pirates of the Four Blues were all useless!! Not one of them could put up a fight!!

Furious after yet another failed attempt to awaken her Haki by herself, Liv headed home with the bounties she'd collected from the pirates.

Just when Liv thought she'd have to wait for Garp to return before she could learn Haki, things took a turn.

A pirate crew that didn't look like pirates arrived in Foosha Village. More importantly, their leader had grown up under the tutelage of the Pirate King's crew and would one day become the youngest of the Four Emperors, with mastery of all three forms of Haki.

Looking at the red-haired pirate who invited her aboard and wore a foolish grin, Liv couldn't help but think:

If fate had sent her a Haki master, was there any need to wait around for Garp to return?

Shanks hadn't expected that just choosing to revisit the little village where he'd last resupplied would make him fall in love at first sight.

It was an ordinary morning. After disembarking, he pushed open the door of Foosha Village's only tavern, as he always did.

The moment he met the girl's smiling eyes, he was drunk on them.

He was helplessly caught in the spring waters of her gaze, happy to drown in them.

But the girl didn't seem to like him very much. As soon as she saw him, she put away all her warmth, donned a false mask, and turned cold.

So he resorted to a little underhanded trick and made a deal with Luffy to learn a few things about her.

So her name was Liv? What a lovely name~

So she liked traveling? That was wonderful! He loved wandering and adventuring across the sea too. It seemed they shared the same interests!

So she was already eighteen~ He was twenty-seven this year. Who would've thought their ages matched so well?

It seemed this was a love ordained by heaven!

[Warnings]

1. The heroine's new body is that of an ordinary person. She'll need time and effort to get strong again, and even her old skills will take time to adapt to her new body. But since she still has a cheat, she'll be very powerful regardless. (She can definitely beat up Red-Hair, no problem.)

2. The heroine isn't a good person! She's cold and heartless toward strangers, and at first she'll use the male lead more than she cares about him. She'll also turn dark later on. If you want tooth-achingly sweet daily life, you'll have to wait until after she beats up the male lead.

3. If I get writer's block, there may be a brief pause in updates, but I will definitely finish the story!
