The Dutiful Husband Forced into a Restriction Novel

Liang Wenyu is just like his name: gentle and warm as jade.

Put less kindly, he's a pushover, and sometimes stubborn to a fault. Once he sets his mind on something, he's in it for life.

So after Qiao An wins him over with hardly any effort, it doesn't take long for his attitude toward Liang Wenyu to turn cold. Liang, however, pours his heart into loving Qiao An for three years, only to be repaid with his boyfriend's unrepentant betrayal.

One day, Liang Wenyu gets hold of a book and learns that he is in an explicit novel. He's merely a stepping stone meant to bring the protagonist uke and protagonist seme closer, a cannon-fodder character destined to be discarded.

With his heart in ashes, Liang Wenyu asks to break up. His ex-boyfriend then turns around and clings to him, hoping to win him back with their old tenderness.

Liang Wenyu leaves, weary to the bone, only to be unexpectedly pinned against a wall by his ex-boyfriend's boss, who had watched their relationship with cold indifference. A careless, amused chuckle sounds by his ear.

"Beg me, and I'll help you get rid of him."

What catches Liang Wenyu even more off guard is that his ex-boyfriend's old flame develops a depraved desire for him and turns into a beast intent on forcing him to submit.

Gripping his wrist and blocking his escape, the man's eyes roil with frenzied possessiveness. "The little dog is completely tainted now. Who else would want you besides me?"

Li Xiao pulls Liang Wenyu by the waist and holds him close. Feeling him lean obediently into his arms, Li Xiao gives the man in front of them a cold smile. "Hey, what are you doing to my husband?"

1. The character types are roughly: the original protagonist uke, full of regret; the original protagonist seme, an obsessive, humiliating pursuer; and the legitimate uke's partner, who chooses him without hesitation from beginning to end.

2. As usual, the seme and uke have a huge mutual attraction. The seme will never return the feelings of anyone who has hurt him.

3. The boss is an original side character who watched the drama with keen interest. So, more accurately, this is a cannon-fodder couple doing pure romance in a story about madmen, scum, and masochists (?)
