The Librarian

Oulan's greatest wish in life was to land a secure government job. It would be even better if that job were at a library.

Working as a librarian had been her dream since childhood, though she only learned as she grew up that it was actually pretty hard to achieve.

Just when she'd almost forgotten all about that dream, she suddenly received an email inviting her to an interview.

Figuring she might as well give it a try, she went and got the job.

The workplace was just a little strange: a gigantic, dilapidated ship.

And the job description was hard to understand, too. What did it mean to capture runaway books and punish readers who didn't return their loans?

The pay was ridiculously high, and room and board were included, so Oulan decided to intern for a few months and give her empty wallet a rescue.

But nobody had told her that being a librarian would involve going all over the place to bring people back, grant their wishes, and collect soul power to unlock rooms!

And what was with all those strange borrowers she met along the way? Demon kings, dragon maidens, and holy knights were one thing, but why were there Superman and Batman, too?

Was this really a proper library?
