Don’t throw away the husband you fish out of the river. Hang him over a bonfire and roast him, and he’ll turn into an adorable little dragon you can pet, cuddle, and kiss!
Lin Shengyan transmigrates with twenty years of memories from Earth into a pitch-black place.
Exhaustion soon lulls him to sleep.
When he wakes again, he finds himself lying naked in the middle of a forest.
!!!
Luckily, there’s water and trees nearby. When he’s thirsty, he drinks from the stream; when he’s hungry, he eats leaves. He can just about survive.
As if!!!
A one-eyed black wolf covered in rotting wounds opens its jaws and tries to swallow the tiny elf whole.
Lin Shengyan despairingly covers his eyes.
"An infant in a state of extreme danger has been detected. Forcibly activating the Infant Care System!"
Flames flare up in the tiny elf’s hands. A brilliant burst of fire sends the black wolf exploding into fireworks in the sky.
From then on, he has a System that keeps whining about being out of energy.
Every so often, the System assigns him farming quests to collect magical plants.
As the System levels up, Lin Shengyan finally learns who he is:
a rare fire elf with healing flames!
Warm flames flicker gently, and the crops in the farm flourish.
The System’s level rises step by step, unlocking new seeds, new recipes, and new skills!
One morning, Lin Shengyan finds an injured human by the stream. He fishes him out of the water with vines, ties him up with more vines, and hangs him from a tree. Then he gathers a pile of dry branches and lights a fire to treat his wounds.
He doesn’t expect to doze off and wake to find that the person in the tree has turned into an adorable little dragon, gazing at him with watery eyes.
Lin Shengyan grits his teeth and decides to raise him!
The little thing is obedient and adorable, and even carries the elf around the farm. The only downside is how jealous he gets. Whenever Lin Shengyan pets another fluffy creature, the little dragon shoves it out of the way. Behind Lin Shengyan’s back, he beats up any fluffy creature competing for his attention.
As he fights, he curses in words Lin Shengyan can’t understand:
"Don’t you have your own wives? Why come to my wife and pull these vixen tricks? I’ll beat you little mistresses number three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten to death!!!"
