A bully shows up at school and picks on Jiang Muwen every day.

Jiang Muwen stands up to him, and they become bitter enemies.

Later, her bitter enemy actually confesses his love to her.

Jiang Muwen hits him on the head with a bottle and says, word by word,

"But Liang Xian, I don't like you at all."

Later, after the misunderstanding is cleared up, Jiang Muwen apologizes to him. It becomes the thing she feels most guilty about.

Liang Xian surprisingly forgives her, and they begin a long-distance relationship.

Jiang Muwen thinks that matter is behind them. She wants to make it up to him,

so she reins in her personality and treats him well, becoming the one with less power in the relationship.

Gradually, she realizes Liang Xian is going too far.

One of his older buddies advises him, "You can't treat a girl like that."

Liang Xian says, "That's exactly how you have to treat her."

Jiang Muwen overhears them.

One day, she tells a friend, "He's really awful to me."

She wonders why dating has to be like this.

She can't take it anymore. "Let's break up, Liang Xian."

Liang Xian flies to England every week to see her, even if they can only spend four hours together.

But Jiang Muwen has changed a lot, and he overhears her talking to a friend.

"Your boyfriend will misunderstand if he finds out."

Jiang Muwen answers casually, "What boyfriend? He's just a fuck buddy."

She is no longer willing to make allowances for him.

She has gone back to being the Jiang Muwen who hated him.

The day he agrees to break up, Jiang Muwen is asleep. Liang Xian braces his hands on either side of her and looks at her.

"I know you're awake."

"I haven't taken good care of you these past few years. My personality is bad, and I didn't consider your feelings, so I made you suffer."

"After I leave, don't go soft on me again. I won't come looking for you."

Jiang Muwen feels drops pattering on her face. It's raining in the room.

Both leads are virgins, happy ending. A major change in style from my last novel.
