Also known as Don't Tell My Sister I'm Playing the Obsessive Second Female Lead Out Here
A heroine who is warm on the outside, cold on the inside, and an unfeeling liar
&
A sister who is cold inside and out, but can't let go of the heroine alone
A world of women
A cool, aloof older sister in this life + a System-created, self-loving nonhuman + a destined childhood sweetheart as spouse... Everyone will love the heroine.
Unfortunately, the heroine loves herself most and misses her birth mother most.
The story doesn't try to give everyone equal screen time (meaning that besides her sister, the heroine will also have many stories with other people). Everything centers on Jian Dusi's character development.
·
Jian Dusi was unlucky enough to be bound by a System and forced to transmigrate into different yuri novels, where she must play the "obsessive second female lead" and win over the heroine.
She accompanies different heroines in putting on ridiculous melodramas. She is the moonlight heroine destined to "betray" the lead, then suffer and chase after her with all her heart. She is the wealthy, lovesick lover with a mental illness who treats the heroine as medicine and cannot live on her own. She is the personality-free puppy who can be imprisoned and humiliated, yet will readily forgive everything as long as the "person in power lowers their head." She is the pitiful, devoted dog who, even after being manipulated and abused by an "avoidant heroine," still can't let her go, and will kneel in the latter half of the story to beg for her love.
She can't live without love. That's the kind of obsessive second female lead she is.
In truth, it's all an act.
When the story ends, she snaps her fingers and leaves behind each tiresome, melodramatic farce. The blood is fake, the love letters are copied, and she only has to abandon those she doesn't love. Those who hurt her are destined to receive twice the punishment.
She has always been cold-hearted and vengeful. Many years ago, she already told the System that she was completely unsuited to playing those obsessive, love-addled second female leads whose behavior she could never accept.
But the high and mighty Time Administration never chose to let her go.
It wouldn't let her return to her original world and see her mother.
The System said that the people above had ordered it to teach her what love and devotion meant.
But she isn't an obsessive second female lead. She's a perfectionist, an unfeeling scumbag. She can't learn.
Her mother etched the word self-respect deep into her bones when she was little. How could Jian Dusi throw away her personality and dignity to "love" someone?
Even after the System bound her for a hundred years,
her eyes remained bright, just as they had been at the beginning.
Time passed, and she arrived in this life.
She gained an older sister.
From childhood, her sister told her that she was an artificial "younger sister," a technological creation made using her sister's genes. Looking at the excellent appearance in the mirror, unchanged through several lifetimes and brought from her original world, Jian Dusi thought: Perhaps you, Sister, are the blood relative the System created for me in this life.
Her sister isn't a good sister. She's cold and dull.
She clearly created Jian Dusi to keep her company because she was afraid of being lonely, yet she never admits it.
She clearly prepares a whole table of delicious food on important days, yet she and Jian Dusi always sit across from each other in silence.
When Jian Dusi is soaked by heavy rain, she clearly comes alone with an umbrella to pick her up, then carefully dries her disheveled body. But why do those eyes never show even a hint of passion?
As Jian Dusi carries out her mission in this life, completing her love story with the heroine assigned to her by pretending to self-harm and throwing herself at her, the one who always stops and protects her is her sister.
"If you do this, does that mean you love me?"
She asks her sister this over and over.
"I'm sorry. I don't understand what love is."
This cold person always gives the same answer.
Just from that one sentence, Jian Dusi is certain that she will never truly love her sister in this lifetime.
But never mind. Jian Dusi is a liar who has scraped by for several lifetimes on falsehoods. She has no right to criticize anyone.
But...
"Jian Yunfu, Sister."
"Hm?"
"If you say you don't understand love, then may I ask... could you stop kissing me? Thank you."
After all, look.
Her heroine is about to open the door.
This is going to be a disaster.
[Reader's Note]
* This isn't a typical humorous story. I'll make things up as I go.
* The heroine really dated and spent time with her spouses in her past worlds, so she has a rich romantic history. Read with caution.
* In this life's world, the heroine's sister is an artificial person modeled on her. They look somewhat alike, but they aren't biologically related. This is a world of women, and there are no household registration documents.
* I probably won't make this very long. I just want to express some of my thoughts without holding back.
Drafting in progress.
Theme: Don't settle, and don't compromise. Before loving someone else, first piece together a complete self.
