Do you remember?
Back then, the whole server still belonged to the Second faction. We farmed mentor-disciple reputation together to trade for appraisal talismans, split the loot in the Underworld dungeon, and went from white wings all the way to the Red Lotus Wedding.
You never showed off our relationship in World Chat, but you would whisper to remind me to activate double rewards and switch mounts;
You never said sweet things, but whenever I farmed the battlefield, you were always there protecting me.
The concern in those whispers and the unspoken teamwork in those dungeons are all buried beneath the wind and sand of the Central Plains.
Later, we deleted the game client without saying goodbye.
Yet we carved each other's names into the very backdrop of our youth.
If I could return to the day we first met, I would still smile and say, "Thank you, my Yijian."
Because some people, even if they only accompany you through virtual years, can warm your whole life.
The data may be virtual, but the feelings are real.
