[Resilient, honest, poor bottom vs. hot-tempered, stubborn young master top]
Wen Chang'an lost his father when he was young and was raised by his grandmother. He thought his life would pass by in quiet simplicity, until he unexpectedly met a young master from the city.
The young master was tall and handsome, but had a terrible temper and loved to tease people.
Especially him.
Wen Chang'an was furious, but there was nothing he could do.
Every day, he could only scribble furiously in his diary, calling him a pervert.
Then one day, the young master actually found the diary. Glaring, he shoved the tattered notebook in front of Wen Chang'an. "We're together, aren't we? Why are you calling me a pervert in your diary?"
Wen Chang'an was stunned. "What are you talking about? When did we get together?!"
"Then why did you ask me to go to Love Mountain with you, and tie a red cord around a tree to pray for good luck?"
Wen Chang'an: "..."
Hadn't a few boys from their class gone to Love Mountain together? And as for the red cord, they'd gone up and failed to find each other, so they tied it there first. Besides, they'd prayed to get into a good university.
But the young master didn't care about any of that. He wrapped his arms around Wen Chang'an and shamelessly insisted, "You asked me to pray with you. You toyed with my feelings, so you have to take responsibility for me!"

Jiang Zhuoyu, whose parents both called him a wicked little bastard, felt as if he'd found his master the first time he saw Wen Changqing.
For the first time, someone was so beautiful that he couldn't look away. But later, the heart drawn in by that beauty began to fill with a quiet ache.
He felt for Wen Chang'an. He didn't want Wen Chang'an to be stuck in the county town, or to be humiliated by his greedy relatives.
He wanted Wen Chang'an to live a long, peaceful life.
So for the first time, this reckless young man learned to gently take someone's hand. He stubbornly stayed by Wen Chang'an's side, hoping to coax away this cat who looked obedient on the outside but was unruly underneath.
Then he would take him home.
